My college Experience

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in technology. So I chose IT so that I can learn many languages along with machine learning and Artificial intelligence in a theoretical and practical manner. Coming to the bond between students and teachers. They provide full support in our careers. They helped a lot to do our final year project as well. The teaching method was really awesome. They teach every subject carefully. The exams were quite tough as we are pg students we have a lot of work to be done.

Internships Opportunities :

During the final year, the teachers will help us to get into good company. They provide us with the previous experience of students. How they got the internship and how it helped them. We have to do a 1-month internship and submit the details before the semester.

Placement Experience :

For a master's degree, there are fewer companies who come to college to hire. But for a bachelor's degree, there are many companies hiring. My plan is to start my career in a reputed company. So that I can able to handle the situation and improve my knowledge of computer science and technology.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are quite expensive as I did a pg course in Information Technology. I got placed in SRM Technologies during campus placement with a 3.5lpa package. They too provide scholarships for many students as well.

Campus Life :

We started our degree during covid so we students got interacted online, especially through WhatsApp and Gmeet. For one year we spent time discussing studies through WhatsApp. We had two groups on WhatsApp. One for the teachers and the other for the students.

Admission :

filling out an application form and being interviewed by the principal and teachers. Some colleges (mostly for admission in humanities and commerce colleges) look at the candidate’s board result i.e. 12th Board exam result. They will look at the overall percentage of the candidate. Some universities look at English+ best three subjects, whereas some look at all the subjects

The teaching methods are not bad but according to the current competitive world, the teaching methods have to be updated. The studies should be practical and useful in the real world. IV(industrial visits) are needed.

They were so many departments in the college, but not all departments have placement. Only some departments have. Thats the one of the drawback about this college. Yet, the placements are from very reputed company and students who got placed are in very high position. Even without placement the students can get placed through internships they avail
