Truth of persuing BTech from KIET

BTech has a Computer science branch which has a very fast and bright future for the student because this technology always increasing from time to time and a computer science student gets very high packages compared to other branches of engineering. I was also having a computer science subject from class 11th so after studying computer science in class 11th and class 12th I was having great interest in computer science, so I choose this course with the computer science branch. A batch of 210 students is divided into three sections and each subject has three teachers, one for each section. The faculty members are highly qualified, each and every faculty members have a PhD degree with them and they have great knowledge about the subjects. We have a class test after 1 month of starting our semester and then a pre-university examination in the last month of the semester and with the class study only one can easily pass this examination. It is not difficult to pass the test and examination of the college.

Kiet group of institutions holds the record of 100% placement. Student from the 6th semester is eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, etc visit the campus for the placement. The recruitment process for 2022 concluded with 2,244 offers. The 2021-22 academic session comprised 1,160 students, out of which 1,072 students were placed successfully. Further, this time KIET's highest package is INR 48.40 LPA and was offered to CS branch students from amazon. 303 companies visited for campus placements and the placement rate was 92%. Talking about the lowest package this year it is 3.84 lakhs of the CS branch. During placement time there were multiple students who are holding more than one job offer from the companies. After getting the degree from the college my plans are to work as a software engineer in a reputed organisation and learn from working there I want to enhance my skills and then enhance my position in the company.

The first-year fees of this college are around 136000 and for the rest 3 years it is around 120000 and talking about total fees of the course it is around 556000 because every year 8000 rupees examination fees are also submitted to the AKTU university. Students here can apply for the scholarship easily

The technical fest includes Innotech conducted in November, the cultural fest includes Epoque conducted in March and prastuti, entrepreneur events like endeavour e summit etc. The library is very badly maintained and is provided with the AC and each and every type of book & journal are present in the library and students can easily take the book from the library using their ID card. The classrooms are very well maintained and are fully air-conditioned, class have neat and clean walls along with well-furnished benches and with the whiteboard, a projector for teaching purposes is also present and benches for students have electric circuits so that they can carry their laptops for their work. Extracurricular activities include various clubs like the kiet music club, Kiet Kavyanjali and TEDxKIET, etc. ERP portal is a website which is developed and managed by the students of the college in a group named TEAM ERP and is used by students as well as faculty members. Various sports events also take place.

The hostels of the college are from my side it will be average not too good not too bad.There is no single seater room, each and every room is for double seater. There is one shareable almirah, switches, two tables, two beds and two chairs in the room and rooms are well maintained. The rooms does not have attached bathroom on each floor of the hostel where is shareable washrooms and bathroom for each and every student. The meal quality of the hostel is very good as compared from the outside PG. They provide variety of food on everyday,there are different different dishes. At night the student also get milk. Talking about registration process, during admission the college ask for whether student is willing to take college hostel or not,if he wants to take the college hostel so they provide the form which the student have to fill and it is submitted during the admission time and hostel fees is also paid by the student at that time and the student is allotted the hostel.

Talking about my admission process I have given the exam of UPTU which is also called UPSEE in that examination I got a decent rank and then through the counselling process, I got admission to this college. But now it takes admission on the basis of JEE mains scores and on the basis of your class 12th percentage by using class 12th percentage there is direct admission if you have a very good percentage in class 12th. And now the UPSEE examination does not take place. Actually, there was a cut-off for each and every category for passing the exam and then in the counselling, if you have a rank around 9000, then you can easily get a computer science branch inside the Kiet group of institutions. This was basically my admission process and in the UPTU examination I got the 9892 ranks so I got admission to the computer science branch according to the counselling process. No, I don't want any improvement in the admission process it is already well-developed.
