I choose this college because it was nearby my house that's why. I choose the English department because I got good marks in English. The facilities are highly qualified for teaching like they are m.phil holders.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the specified course is nearly 6000 rupees. And you may get that back as a stipend after completing the course. The cost for the study is very average. Anyone can afford it. As I know there is no campus.

Campus Life

We are having big library inside our campus. There are all varieties of books, journals, and newspapers. Even they are having newspaper collections and books for the government exams. Sometimes facilities give some novels for need.

Admission

The eligibility for applying for the course is passing the 12th standard with a qualified percentage. Nearly above 70 percent. We can buy the application form in college after getting the 12th results. The application fees may vary.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.

I wrote tancet exam so all details come from the government like when is the date to apply what is the date to pay the fees etc. After I'll get these things I'll attend the counseling and pick the college.
