Remarks

College management though at times were rude to us, we all enjoyed the days and still remember all events that took place. Its was just fun, sorrows, happiness, and altogether its a College Life.

Entrance Preview

I had given my CET examinations and scored 18000. Got good reviews about the college then from one of my cousin.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure includes all what an engineer require from the technical point of view. The practicals were awesome, wherein we get to know how the real world works apart from the bookish knowledge. Only thing I felt which was a curse is the backlog system, which in fact spoiled many students life.

Internships Opportunities

No, My college does not provide internship. I have no experience in this regard. But I wish they provide internships. If given a chance that would be great for the students with respect to their future

Placement Experience

0.5

To be frank, the placements were really bad. I remember them giving a pool campus which is the only placements I faced during the college life. This should be improved because as all know its very difficult for the engineers to trace a job and get through. If colleges are really keen in placing their students i really encourage having campus selections to a great extend.

College Events

3

We had quite good number of events celebrated in our college. We celebrate college day every year wherein students have a get together and promote their ideas and talents. We had inter college fest... which was called AGAM. This provided us chance to meet other college mates and build up new ideas. We celebrated Onam, Mismatch day, Ethnic day and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure compared to other college is feasible. But the facilities of college is poor I must say. When I studied we hardly had a library which contained oldest edition books. We had no good washrooms which was a basic need, no good canteen, and the place was always covered with construction works which was so irritated.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships Yes. We had scholarships only for the SC/ST candidates. But there were no benefits for the students who studies well and stuffs. If this is introduced then I guess this would be an encouraging criteria for the upcoming batches.

Campus Life

4

Sports, competitions, robotics were encouraged. We had people going and promoting their ideas for all of these every year. We had almost equal number of males and females so no problem that wise. Campus life was good. enjoyment with friends and teachers were the main memories. You will never know... time just elapses and you will in your last days of engineering life. Left out is just sweet memories.

Hostel Facilities

2

Well, I have not stayed in hostel, But from the feedback from my friends I could say the hostel was quite good. It was clean and hygienic. But the mess was horrible. No good food, no food at times, mess was untidy. Hence most of them were having their food from out.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very sweet and helpful to all of us. There were many who inspired my life to a great extend. They have literally transferred their ideas and strength which is always within us.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is fair enough. we have 3 internals whose average is put on to the main exams. But the only thing which I thought would be a burden is the backlogs. Backlogs are really a burden for students life. Not all students are capable of understanding every subjects. one might be good at computers other in math. So I suggest them to encourage students to come forward in the subject which they are poor, instead of pushing them down again and again and loading them with lot of backlogs, which ends nowhere.

Admission

As the procedure of CET, I had to gather around the CET allotment center where the seats available would be displayed and the candidate had to select the required seats including the course and college. Depending upon your merit score you would get seats and could choose out of a list of courses applied. Likewise I selected RGIT (Hebbal) and CSE as my course. Had to submit documents and government fees in the CET center and take the receipt and submit in college and pay the admission fees there.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties were good. Our math lecturers were so good that they pinpoint every techniques and make us a masters in the subject. Computer lecturers were good. Lab technicians were good. Faculties were kind enough and friendly to us. Apart from the electronics teachers I felt everyone to be good and helpful.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
