If you got skills then you have career in this college..
It is in tha heart of madurai and every single thing in accessible...Selection is through merit..so if you have good grades then it is lit to get in....
Freindly staffs and available at any time

Dislikes

Even though the hostel food is good for some day it turned flavorless after some months...
There is a strict dress code that u have to follow and there is parking tickets for students vehicles
There is less spotlight on sports and the self financed course fees is just massive

Since I studied ug mathematics, the faculties are friendly and available at any time when we need their help. They always insist we ace our career goals and mentorship is really good. All the staffs have decades of teaching experience.

Internships Opportunities

We have to take care of our own internships as it has some extra credit points. We can take of leave and contribute to internships in any firms related to our departments and it will also help in our projects related to business strategies.

Placement Experience

Almost every deserving student got placed. doing online courses will enhance your profile to get placed in any reputation firms. Even most ug students are placed in Deloitte, TCS, and HCl. Have to get at least 80 percent. It doesn't matter if you got communication skills and stuff.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are relatively affordable when compare to other colleges in Madurai they also provide us with post-matric and management scholarships for economically backward students depending upon their semester percentage, which is really a good thing they held placement classes and conduct placements with some reputation firms.

Campus Life

Every last semester of the year they conduct a fest named sangamam, which is an interdepartmental cultural program. A good chance to expose our extracurricular activities. And there is a general Library that includes all complete exam books and novels other than that each department has a department library. Every department has a club and association in which club activities are conducted once every month.

Admission

The process of admission is online via the College portal. After the HSC results, we can apply for up to 15 days. Reservations are fairly followed. We can download our selection list via the college portal and the management send an email too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

This college was top in madurai with nirf ranking 15 . First i thought of learning engineering but the fees was too high that I can't afford,so i choose this college which provides same placement opportunities as engineering college with top mncs abd provides many internship opportunities from your 2ndyr . You can apply for the college and courses directly on the college website after completing 12th and when the results are out . Students are selected based on their cuttoff amd according to cast reservation. Once you are selected you will asked to come for document verification and finally you can get into tca.
