Life at KSOM

The course Curriculum is Good and the faculty members are also good, and not worried about the studies. the structure is well balanced most of the faculties are from the IIMs, XIMs, and other prestigious colleges term exams are happened semester wise and within those semester exams mid-sem also happens and it is not that extremely difficult but yes some papers are difficult. It completely depends on the faculty who is setting the paper. To get a pass in the exam is not so hard but also at the same time if you don't put the effort in that scenario you might get failed so the main thing is you just can't let it go and sit and relax you have to give something and put some effort. Some of the papers are difficult so you just can't go with the flow.

Companies like Reliance, Deloitte, EY, Loreal, Mondelez International, Amul, Indigo Paints, and Protiviti come for the internship Program and most of the roles are sales profiles with a stipend of 10k to 20-25k. But some of the companies don't provide stipends also. Projects are based on the company that you are joining and to clarify the tasks you have your faculty guide and the person will be assigned to your company by the Senior Manager.

Campus placement is good as far as I heard about it because I am still studying in 1st year. Kiit itself is a big brand and many people come from different places they are also very serious about the placement of the students although you can't be placed in big big companies like Goldman shacks and Google and Microsoft still good companies come over here. almost 90-95% of the students get placed. The highest package in the last year was 19.5 lakhs as per what I have heard and the average is 7-8 lakhs. Companies that visited are Deloitte, reliance, Dabur, Protiviti, Mondelez International and many others

The fee structure is 14,50,000 for 2 yrs and there might be a hike in 2023 yes it's expensive and can't be affordable for medium-class families but yes you can get a scholarship and you can apply for a loan. job is also provided in this college and most of the jobs are from sales profiles.

Campus life is Very Good. You will love it. it is very much vibrant and many people are there from different cultures and states and with different mindsets. you will get to know many things over here.

The hostel facility is good and so the mess is also although you will get bored after some days bit overall average. quality is not that good but yes you can manage. the menu is good also. you can register it by just getting admission into it because the hostel and mess fees comes within the course fees

The admission Process was smooth. You have to give any national exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT or KIIT own exam. You can find the details on their websites and after giving your exams, you can enrol your name by applying to the specific colleges where you want to be get joined and fill up the form for those respective colleges.

I had given GD AND PI for the admission but some people gave the only PI round. The admission process is good and you just have to be aware of current affairs and should have basic knowledge of all the subjects that you have been preparing for. You just have to give your best. I think in my GD round the topic was the dominance of the telecom industry and the Pi round was just asked about me and my own experience and some of the G.K questions. I didn't do anything extra for these rounds. I just prepared for the Main exams and rest of the things I just got help from the internet
