SGT University - Highly Disciplined

I want to give good remarks to my college because of Infrastructure,Placements,Guest faculties,Grounds,Canteens.. overall the University is good for study and also the course fees are affordable than other colleges.

I gave entrance examination of the SGT University in which their were 50 students. Out of which 44 students were selected for admission. As it is a private university, entrance exam doesn't matter that much.

Course structure is overall good. In my course the focus is not on a particular subject. Because it includes photography, Videography, Anchoring, Reporting etc. So everyone have to maintain that which semester includes which research program. But in other faculties the focus is on particular subject and also faculty organised industrial visits so that the focus should be maintain on a particular subject.

Yes my university provides internship as per the performance of the student. If the student is excellent in class as well as on the internship period they are given are impressive stipend and can also get a permanent job.

The placement department at SGT University is proud to contribute to nation building by addressing the manpower needs of the industry. The placement department not only provides the students with job opportunities, but also grooms the students during their stay at SGT so that they are industry-ready by the time they pass out. The University has a well equipped and well staffed Corporate Resource Center that helps students with internships and final placements.

Many cultural festivals, Technical events and management festivals are organised by the University. They invite guest faculties as well as celebrities in the University. These events are sometimes big and sometimes only under a faculty. Every student can give their name to participate in those events. And they are selected by their performance.

One or two students of my class which scored more than 80% were given scholarships of some discount. None of the students were given full scholarship or 100% discount.

Gender ratio in SGT University is around 60:40. 60% are boys and 40% students are girls. Both of them follow same rules. So many functions and parties happens multiple times every year in University like Diwali Fest,Freshers Party,Holi fest and some celebrity visits. University provides workshop for every faculty. In our faculty University take us to news channels and radio channels for workshops. The culture of University is good and their is not at all racism. University has students of every religion and all of them are comfortable with the University. No elections or politics are included in this University.

All the hostel rooms are furnished with beds, study tables, chairs and cupboards and equipped with ceiling fans and lights. Special facilities for air conditioners to be used on extra payment basis are also provided. Hostelers are given treated water, Wi-Fi and provided with Security Guards round the clock.

Yes the alumni network and my seniors are very helpful. In fact some of the seniors are my good friend.They help juniors for internship purpose and for some useful information too.It was a good experience.

Exam structure is different in every faculty. The exams are well organised and the exam hall is large to comfort the students. Two or more faculties present in a single exam hall so that the strictness remains. Practicals are chill to give.. They don't give much tension to u as your faculty only takes your practical which includes internal marks.

Here the admission process is like a direct admission but they also take entrance examination to test the students. This is only the admission process of some faculties other faculties have strict entrance tests by which they get admission here. Form filling was easy. Administration helped me to know about the University and filling the form. They also gave me a short tour of the University.

Faculty of my course are not permanent. Only few members are same otherwise many of the faculty leaves the University in the middle of semester.The faculty which are permanent are very friendly. They helped me a lot in the starting of my course. Their standard of teaching is also great. They are well educated with the same course which we are perusing.
