Labs are scheduled in the good way according to subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is an Autonomous college. It has an R20 syllabus. There are Doctorate faculty in our college. The teaching method is clear, faculty teaches using PPTs. We have mids and sem exams in our college.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In our college, we have internship opportunities. Recently we have a company called FactSet for internships from the TASK portal. We can also apply to various other internships also according to our interests.

Placement Experience

We have placements for our college. We can also do internships in 3rd year. The highest package is 20lpa and the average is 4lpa in our college. We have many tech companies visited to our college like Amazon, Cognizant, TCS, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is 86000. We have to pay extra fees for the library and a special fee, which is around 5000. If we get a seat through ts-eamcet 35000 will be reduced from our fee. If we get good marks in Intermediate then we have other scholarship benefits.

Campus Life

In our college, we have year-wise events like Technocrat which includes various technical and non-technical events conducted by students. The college consists of a huge library, it has all the department books. The college has a ground and sports room for playing.

Admission

I got a seat in this college through the Ts-eamcet exam. My eamcet rank is around 20k. I got a seat in the first counseling of Ts-eamcet. After that certificates are verified. The admission process is very clear and understandable.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
