Course Curriculum Overview
I choose it because this course can help me to get into the world of coding in a short period. The faculty is good. All faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty have done Masters with good experience and half of them are doing Ph.D. The way of teaching is smooth. Term exams are conducted after every 5-6 months and the difficulty level is average for all types of questions they put in exams.
Internships Opportunities
Startups like Geeks for Geeks, TCS, and Wipro offers students internships and jobs. Projects like coding language handling software developing and managing are to be done. As they provide training so after that training you have to prepare a project and seminars are to be held.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees increase as new policy comes but in the last 2 years there is no increments in the fee. If you are from a low economic class then other methods are also available. The name of the scholarship is Post matric scholarship(PMS), Tuition fee waiver (TFW). You just fill out the form and clear the criteria for it and you will get it.
Campus Life
There are so many fests held every year like YOUTHFEST, SPORTTECH, department fest, Engineering fest, etc. Mainly these were conducted in January, and others according to the occasion. All books are available in the library. Amenities in the classroom are projector study smart-class computer labs. For sports, there are many games held according to time and you have to fill out the form and do some training clear the criteria. Clubs like Music, book club, and sports club are run by students.
Hostel Facilities
In a room, you will get a bed, chair, table, fan, tube light, and cupboard. The quality of food is average but according to time table and occasion like Diwali Holi, they will provide your diet. The menu is not the same every day. After admission, you have to fill out the form for the hostel and according to your home resident distance, you will be preferred. The fee is not too much as it is Rs. 12500. In Rs 5000 is mess security and Rs 2000 is hostel security after the session you will get this fund back. Nearby campus there are PGs if you want to live in PG. And the price lies between Rs 5000-10000 according to facilities.
Admission
For BCA you have to do secondary education in any stream that is Science, arts, or commerce. For the application form, you can find it on the official website of MDU and fill out the particular form. If you are from Schedule Class then the fees are very low and based on scholarships, you can avail of benefits. No the process of admission is good there is no need to do that.
