my admission is done through an entrance examination. which is a common process in mp. Sometimes 12th pass may also get admission but it depends on seat availability and demand of branch in mechanical branch

I choose mechanical because I have interested in it. Faculty are experienced and knowledgeable at Vikrant Institute. the Student-teacher ratio is 25:1. Head and a few other p.hd, remaining all faculties are masters. Exams are maintained through RGPV

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is a minimum of approx 40000/- per year for B.tech. also, eligible candidates get Govt. Scholarship. The college also provided scholarships to general category meticulous students. Campus placement is well provided helps in training as well

Campus Life

The annual fest is queurth, which is conducted in feb-march every year. Thousand of books and journals are available, e-library facility is also there. well-equipped classroom. but requirements of projector in each class. Huge sports ground, the college has its own cricket academy "Vikrant Academy". Institute innovation council, Blood donation and camps for seva.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
