A review

I chose the cse course. The course content is set by vtu as this college is affiliated with vtu. This year a few changes regarding course content were made as a result of which first years are allowed to choose electives. There were three internal examinations per semester and their difficulty was set from easy to moderately easy. The faculty are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. They started teaching from the basics which built a solid foundation for understanding and would help us clear our doubts whenever we had them. They were also quite approachable

I am still a first-year student and have not done any projects. Companies like Infosys have provided an option for internship through the Infosys springboard which the college has made us aware of with the help of Infosys employees.

Most students get placed at prominent companies like Infosys and Wipro. The highest-paying package is? 10,00,000 and the lowest paying package is? 2,00,000 per annum. I plan on going for a master's degree after the completion of my bachelor's degree in computer science.

The cost of studying the cse course depends on the medium of entry. The fee details are mentioned on the official website of Saividya. Students are made aware of opportunities to apply for scholarships with the relevant conditions required for the scholarships

The facilities available at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology are impressive including the labs and library including a digital library where journals are available. The library is well stocked with books and resources available to students who want to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. A ground and a basketball court along with a spacious sports room are available to students. Events and seminars often take place , a notable one being the techvidya event.

Anyone can get into the college through, kcet, comedk or lateral entry. Fee Structure can be found through the exams given or at the official website saividya.ac.in or through websites like collegedunia. I took the comedk entrance exam and got Sai Vidya Institute of technology as a college in the first round of comedk among the colleges I had applied for.
