Great University and College to study

As my interest lay in pursuing a PG in management and Manipal University is well known for its quality of education. The faculty-student ratio in Manipal would be around 6:1. Most of the faculties are well qualified and are PhD holders. The teaching methodology is mainly via Case Studies, PPT presentations, etc. The exams were conducted regularly and in the semester system.

Doing an internship was compulsory in our college and had done the internship during 1st year MBA vacation and the internship duration was around 2 months. There was no stipend offered for internships. The internships were done across the domains of Human Resources, Marketing, Operations and Finance.

From the 3rd semester of college, students are eligible for placements. Companies have visited the campus but are very less in number. Companies like Accenture, Tcs, jio were the top companies that visited our campus. 40% of the people got placed on campus The highest package offered was around 9lpa and the lowest package would be 3.5 LPA

The fee structure for MBA in MIM back in the time when I joined the organisation was around 4,00,000 LPA per year and it has been increased comparatively. There was not much financial assistance but there was something called Sages which was allocated to some ug students of particular colleges in and around Manipal.

The campus life in Manipal University is lively and there would be fests happening every now and then. There is a really great library at Manipal University that will be open till 11 pm at night. Classrooms are well equipped and air-conditioned with great infrastructure. There are multiple clubs run by the students like sports clubs, vso- volunteer service Organisations, tech clubs, and literary clubs.

Any undergraduate degree would be qualified to enrol in MBA. The application to apply could be found in the Manipal University admission portal. There are no reservation benefits for the students, Getting into an MBA course in Manipal completely depends on UG marks, personal interview and group discussion.

There was group discussion and other activities that had held during the admission process. The personal interview was mostly regarding the undergraduate, reason for MBA. They mostly check the speaking skills and communication abilities of the individuals.
