Course Curriculum Overview
KSOM is one of the best business schools in the entire India. After completing my graduation I had always thought of doing my master's at an institute that provides me ample opportunities. Faculties at KSOM are from IIMs, IITs, etc.
Internships Opportunities
The internship offers are made to each and every eligible and interested student by the end of the first year. The companies which come for internships include Protiviti, Reliance Retails, ICICI AMC Prudential, Deloitte Taxation, etc.
Placement Experience
The placement at KSOM is great. All eligible students get placed at KSOM by the end of their program. The average package is around 8-9 LPA. Some of the companies which regularly visit KSOM include Deloitte, Protiviti, HDFC, TCS, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee at KSOM is a bit more as compared to other institutes. But, I would say it is worth it, as the infrastructure and other facilities at KSOM are beyond par. The internship offers at KSOM are decent and almost all eligible students at KSOM get an offer by the end of the first year.
Campus Life
Right from the first day of college at KSOM, I have enjoyed each and every day to its fullest. All the classrooms are equipped with the latest technologies and all classrooms have AC facilities. Each and every school at KIIT has its own library and central library for all schools.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms at KSOM are spacious and fully furnished. The quality and quantity of the food served is also good at KSOM. We had common for both boys and girls students. Both veg and non-veg meals are served as decided by the mess committee. The menu is changed every 3-4 months.
Admission
First of all, I applied for the KSOM entrance test and after clearing the written test, I was asked to appear for GD & PI. The application fee was INR 1250. The GD was easy but the PI was a bit grilling, they asked about my graduation and why I want to do MBA from KSOM.
Interview Experience
The topics revolve around current affairs, such as digitization, AI, demonetization, fiscal policies, monetary policies, etc. The PI at KSOM is a bit tough to crack. I took the help of youtube videos and RS Agarwal for my basic preparation.
