Likes

Faculties are from top institutions of the country. One of the best colleges in terms of infrastructure in the entire country. The students are from all parts of the country.
Ambience and environment at KSOM is phenomenal. It is one of the greenest campuses of the country.
Placement at KSOM is good and almost all students gets placed.

Dislikes

I don't think anything at KSOM is wrong.
In my opinion everything is fine at KSOM.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the faculties are from reputed institutes such as TISS, XLRI, IIMs, and other top colleges of the country. For 2022-2024, there are 350+ students, divided into six sections. We have to appear for the mid and end semester examination. There are a total of four semesters.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 725000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Roles starting from consulting, sales, marketing research, and human resources are offered. The stipend varies from student to student and from organization to organization. A few companies include Saint Gobain, Deloitte, Jindal, Protiviti, etc.

Placement Experience

The placement at KSOM is decent. Almost all eligible students get placed by the end of the academic session. The average salary stand at 8lacs to 10lacs per annum. The companies start coming for placement derives from the month of August in the second year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee at KSOM is more than average. We are paying INR 14.50 lacs for two years. Almost all eligible students get internship offers from reputed organizations such as Saint Gobain, Protiviti, Deloitte, etc. A maximum number of internships are paid.

Campus Life

KIIT is one of the greenest campuses in the entire country. Each and every school has its own library along with a central library. All the hostels and classrooms of KSOM are fully equipped with basic facilities and are fully air-conditioned rooms.

Admission

I have completed my bachelors in Civil Engineering in 2019 and after for close to 3 years I decided to pursue master's from a reputed institute and on figuring out several things I decided to appear for entrance at KSOM. The entrance test fee was INR 1250. All the shortlisted students after written test have to appear for Group discussion and personal interview.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.

Kalinga School of Management - where great manager come from

Eligibility is 50% aggregate marks in 10th and 12th boards.candidates those who have appeared in the 12th examination and expecting results before 31st August,2024 can also apply for the program also those who have appeared in UGAT can also apply with valid score. Further candidate will be selected based on their UGAT Score or Career Marks and Performance in Personal Interview. apart from the above exam score ,KSOM takes admission based on KIITEE Management entrance exam which is of 2.5hrs exam with 150 multiple choice questions. This year it was conducted on 19-21 jan 2024, happens once after this same procedure of Personal interview takes place.
