Faculty is awesome and also their teaching methods.
Practicals are seriously taken up so that is really a good thing.

College environment and surroundings and the internal politics and the behaviour of other departments etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue general graduation in biology subject. Faculty is of a total of 7 teachers with 2 clerks and 4 lab assistants in the department. faculties are well qualified and 2 of them are gold medalists. teaching methods are awesome. earlier in my time there were annual exams and practicals but now it is a semester (every 6 months) wise. and the exams were not so tough.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally, fees hike is not seen for most of the years. state and national scholarships can be availed here. placement is not good but yes a few times some good MNCs come for placement but that is rare.

Campus Life

Medha Samvardhan and divyankur and Abhinav named fests are organised every year. the library has a good amount and quality of books. there are e classrooms too. sports and extracurricular activities are also available here and sports competitions are also organised every year. there are eco clubs for environmental protection, CRs are made for discipline and a few more groups and clubs are there but they are rarely active.

Admission

Qualify 12th with min. 45% and you are eligible to apply here. but admission is confirmed only if you are on the merit list. admission is on the basis of the 12th percentile. a further process is easy. Application fees are Rs.700. Application form is available directly on the website at www.jnpg.org.in.

The improvements required in the course curriculum and teachings methods are : To focus more on helping the student understand the theory well rather than giving them a big practical file to make . The frequency and timings of exams are perfect. Odd sem are held in November,they are theory papers and are of 3 hours .The even semester exams are held in May and are MCQ based questions and are of 1.5 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I can say the best thing about their pattern of examination is that there is 50 mark mcq question paper and then 50 nark subjective question paper which prepare students for most of the competitive exams they have to face for their higher education. Difficulty level of the examination is moderate. If one can listen to the lectures of the teachers they can easily qualify competitive exams.
