Remarks

I would rate college management as average on terms of day to day management. However, if any student has any grievances which are unsolved by college management can be taken up to date or Mumbai University who has authority over the college and can take up such unnoticed issues of students on priority.

Entrance Preview

MH-CET (Maharashtra State Entrance Examination). I scored 92 percentile and chose this institute as it was in close proximity of Mumbai City and had good faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Overall course curriculum was good. Institute follows research methodology wherein you can purse research oriented internship in-house mentored by faculty of good academic repute. Option to choose elective is offered in second year wherein you have choose for Operations, Human Resource, Finance and Marketing.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, College provided internship opportunities. However, possibility of getting stipend in such internships is very less as it mostly depends on company or organisation where you are doing your internship. Overall internship experience is good and college provides dedicated mentor to every student to monitor his/her project during internship.

Placement Experience

3

For Placement and Job opportunities, I will rate the institute as Average. Most of the offers were for Marketing students and the highest package was for 6 lacs p.a and average was 2.75 p.a in my batch. Recruiters were HCL, ICICI, Edelweiss, HDFC, 3M, TCS etc. In total 85℅ of the batch was placed and around 45 companies had visited the campus while there were 50+ companies who invited students to their regional HQ's for recruitment drive.

College Events

4

Lot of conventions on functional specialisations are conducted such as HR Convention, Finance Convention, Marketing Convention etc to boost industry contacts and increase student interaction with professionals from relevant field. Other than there is annual management festivals which are organised and students from other management institute attend and participate. In year 2013, footfall of students from other institutions had reached 2000+ during the annual management studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yearly fees is 2 lacs and the entire programme fees will cost around 4- 4.5 lacs. It's in average range considering the f es of other institutions around Mumbai. Institute provides support for educational loans which can be availed to cover the programme fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship facility is available. However, loan is provided by all leading financial institutions which can be availed to cover college fees. Students can opt for HDFC education loan where the institute is ranked in Tier 1 class which makes loan procurement easy and hassle free.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is 3:2 where number of male students are higher. Lot of debates, Group discussion and Presentation competitions are conducted by institute which students can participate to groom their skills. Also, institute encourages students to participate similar competitions conducted by other institutions. Institute has zero tolerance policy towards any discrimination of student on grounds gender, race and ethnicity. Such actions are severely punished to ensure a environment of equality.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There is no facility for hostel. Students have to fetch for their accomodations on their own. Also, there is no mess facility. However, there is canteen facility where lunch can be bought at affordable rate. The food quality at canteen is average. Students can opt for mess facilities available near station area outside institute which provide good quality food at reasonable cost.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet is conducted every year. Plus from this year institute has started Student-Alumni mentorship programme where set of students are allocated to a successful professional who had been institute alumni to encourage professional development and good prospect for career opportunities.

Exam Structure

Examinations are conducted in semester pattern with 4 semesters at interval of 4-5 months. Exams were conducted as per the guidelines of Mumbai University. Exams are not that hectic with sufficient time between each papers to prepare for next scheduled paper.

Admission

First I appeared for MH-CET which was conducted by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education). Once after receiving my written score, I appeared for GD and PI conducted by DTE. Then there were CAP (Centralised Admission Process) rounds conducted by DTE through which I secured the admission.

Faculty

4

25 % of the faculty had PhD in their field of teaching and have industry experience of 7+ yrs (Average). Other 75℅ faculty comprises of educators who are either pursuing PhD or are industry veterans who are hired because of their years of experience in their field.

The placements here are decent. For internship the record stands still at 100% and for the final pacements its 95% for all the eligible students. If there wouldn't have been any placements here, I would've opted for the employement outside on my own as I have personal contacts and references in the bfsi industry.
