Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the computer science course because the problems faced in society are solved by engineers. The faculty are also well-educated and intelligent. The faculty are highly qualified through doctorates in big institutes. The exams are very easy.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very reasonable to pay for the students. The college management provides scholarships for students to encourage them towards their studies. Provides scholarships for backward Students. The college provides campus jobs also.

Campus Life

The life on the college campus is very interesting and enjoyable. Every moment in the college was memorable. We enjoy the annual fest conducted in college. The college has a library and contains different books to study. The classrooms are very large and peaceful. The college conducts sports to encourage students towards co-curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides hostel facilities for students. The hostel rooms are very clean and peaceful which helps to concentrate students on their studies. Meals are also very tasty and we enjoy the food. We pay a reasonable amount for our accommodation.

Hostel Fee: INR 3700 per year

Admission

The admission process in the college is based on the entrance exam. The eligibility for the course is based on the rank in the entrance test. Our college provides reservation facilities for economically backward Students. The admission process is very good.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
