Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college with a beautiful designs.
Library is the best place for me to study related to subject or other.
The course which I have is best for me because of good faculty members.

Dislikes

Some disturbances during the class or like outside the block
There will be no sufficient time for sports sometimes due to heavy schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science has great opportunities in today's world. Here the faculty will be very friendly and we can clarify our doubts by asking them. Management conducts mid-exams after completing 3 months of each semester and the semester exam will be at the end of 6 months duration.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Training will be provided through the trainer from our college and internships will be available from different companies like Internshala, factset, Infosys etc. They provide a lot of opportunities to achieve what we want.

Fees and Financial Aid

Now I have 86000 college fees as college is autonomous and I get 35000 through fee reimbursement because I am from the general category. They offered a scholarship who got good marks in inter IPE exams i.e., a student who got 950 or above can get a 25000 scholarship every year.

Campus Life

There are many facilities in our college like a gym, sports room, football court etc. They will conduct fest and like traditional days, freshers without any remark. there are some student clubs in the college that take care of social and extracurricular activities.

Admission

I am selected through my eamcet rank and I have chosen computer science at Vaagdevi College of Engineering. Because of the general category, I get only 35000 from the government as fee reimbursement. Eligibility for the course is qualifying for the entrance exam that is eamcet.

A Helpful internship Experience with gaining real world skills

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
