Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as such that in the first year, we are taught a vast variety of subjects from all domains like finance, marketing, operations, and hr to give a basic understanding of everything that a manager can need to do. The faculty has been very helpful and started from the basics since all students are from different backgrounds. For the second year, we can choose our specialisations and the subjects under that, so we can study in depth what we are actually interested in. We have 3 trimesters in a year and per trimester, we have midterms as well as final exams along with assignments for ICA.
Internships Opportunities
Icici, Dell, rbi, jo morgan, mtr, marsh, etc provide great packages and different roles for different specialisations. The highest stipend for 2023 was 85k per month. The internet duration is 2 months, ie, April and May.
Placement Experience
In the 5th trimester usually, campus placements start, and our college guarantees 100% placements for all students. Prestigious brands like jp morgan, Dell, mtr, rbi, icici, droom, marsh, etc are loyal recruiters and give handsome packages to students. The average package increases every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the 2022-24 batch is Rs. 9lakh per annum, excluding the accommodation and living expenses. They do provide internship and live project opportunities in different companies so we can get corporate exposure as well as earn part-time.
Campus Life
Social life at the campus is very happening, there are always fests, competitions, clubs and committee activities, etc going on to engage the students apart from just academics. We have the PR cell, Rang committee, Udyam committee, Lakshya committee and many more for cultural, sports and csr activities. TEDx event is organised every year, annual cultural fest nityaksh is also there. We have a huge variety of Books and journals in the physical as well as digital libraries along with Bloomberg terminals.
Admission
I filled out an application form for the NMAT exam from the nmims University website by registering there first. Then I filled out an application for the admission to university and selected what campuses I want to apply to. After preparations, I gave the NMAT exam and got selected for the interview by clearing the cutoff for the Bengaluru campus. A couple of weeks after the interview I got selected and paid the fees within one week and got admitted to the college. The whole process was very well defined and smoothly took place and all queries were resolved quickly from their portal.
