Course Curriculum Overview
PGDM has a industry focused curriculum that caters to the needs of the industry and IIBS has been successfully training its students to get into the industry without much hurdles. Also the course starts with basics and develops into intermediate and advanced.
Placement Experience
this program follows a trimester system and students are eligible for placements at their 5th trimester. The 6th trimester would be a project report from the placed company. various companies visit the college for placements right from fortune 500 companies to new startups
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tuition fee for 2 years program is 9.5 lakhs, along with which students can get to avail various scholarships depending on their 10th, 12th and graduation marks. Also female students get an additional scholarship.
Campus Life
Regular hackathons, summits and various festivals are celebrated in the campus. the library has a wide range of books and journals and also gives access to bloomberg terminal all classrooms have smart screens to enable digital presentations of subjects
Admission
I previously got offers in ISBR and PES University but i chose IIBS over them as this collge has a good placement record and has placed students across various sectors. IIBS has a record placement of 48 lakhs per annum package in its pgdm program
Faculty
Faculty and students having a good bond right from day 1. The faculty here make sure every student can approach them without any second thoughts. Personally my favourite faculty here are Shashi Kiran Sir, Shreenidhi Sir, Chandrakala Mam and Reddy Sir.
Interview Experience
I have given NTA level exam which is CUET PG. However other exams such as CAT, MAT, KMAT and CET are also accepted and it is mandatory to attempt atleast one of the above. The first one month students are trained to be management students and lot of activities are conducted followed by a official entrance into the program called the MOM Valedictory programme.
Night Life
Hostel is almost 15 min away from the college making it a little difficult for easy accessibility. Also the area doesnt have much of cafeterias or gyms around and also there are a very few hangout places inside as well as outside the college
