My 3 year of ups and downs.

I choose this course because I wanted to get into IT but was unable to get admission into DU. So I choose this college and the student per class is a little bit extra (60 students in each class). The faculty is good and very supportive. Also, the qualification is actually good for many of the teaching staff also some were also pursuing PHD side by side. The exam pattern is good and not too difficult to pass you can easily score in the exam if you have studied well.

The college provides you with some intern companies but they are paid and are courses like interns. Basically, they offer you a course and ask you to enrol and get certificates and experience for that. College won't provide you with paid interns or free interns. You have to find free or paid interns yourself.

My course was for 3 years and from the 5th sem, you generally get companies to apply for. The placement drive is quite good and you'll get too many opportunities to sit in placement also the placement coordinator is very supportive and will push you for trying some companies for placement. But the package offered by many companies are quite low and sometimes you also get companies like BPO. The average package ranges from 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA and the highest is 4-4.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS and some startups visited the college. To sit in the placement you must not get back in any subject. I am pursuing MCA now.

The fees are a bit high 80000 for a year and according to that the campus is small not too big. The collage area is an issue because it is a compact collage. Getting financial help and scholarship the college staff provides you with these facilities but it is not from the college side. They will tell you about the government schemes.

At my time the fest happened mostly at starting of the year 2023. Also, there is no particular fest of the college you have to participate in university fest. The college does provide you with some games and inter-college competitions and also with cultural activities. There's a library also in the college from where you can borrow books and the availability of books are okay. The classroom is good and also provided with AC facilities and is big enough.

I applied for CET (common entrance test) and according to the scores in CET I got a list of colleges I can take and that's how I got into this college. You can find the CET link year on the official website of GGSIPU. I am form the general category so there was no reservation for me but you can also get admission through management quota if your scores are not good enough for a particular college. The admission process must be hazel free and parents and students should be informed at ones only about the details like fees and documents required for taking admission.
