Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I always had a keen interest in managing things and had always dreamt of corporate life. And KIIT being one of the best B- Schools in Odisha made me choose the school. Mentor - mentee facility is available in a 1:12 ratio. The course curriculum is very good and the faculties make the subject easier by giving practical knowledge. Classes were taken for bringing improvement among the students on confidence, speaking skills and managerial skills.
Placement Experience
The placement statistics are very good here. Various companies visit here for placements starting from Marketing to Finance. Companies like Deloitte, Aditya Birla, EY, Protivitis and many more with a package ranging from 6-7 lakhs per annum and highest 15 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee for MBA is 14.5 lakhs for 2 years where they will be providing laptops and other essential study materials. At the end of the 2nd semester, students will be given a time of 2 months to have an internship and also college will bring various numbers of companies for the summer internship program.
Campus Life
KOLOSSEEUM is the annual fest that takes place around February or March of a year. AC classroom, mics for better listening and a smart board. There's a library which has books varying from Marketing to Financial Accounting. There're different kinds of clubs like Sanskriti- for cultural clubs, Synergy - HR club, Exchequer - Finance Club.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are so clean and hygienic. It has an Ac in it, they will provide all the necessary things like mattresses buckets, blankets etc As it is a residential program, living at a hostel is mandatory. There are two types of hostel, premium and non-premium. After admission, students will be provided with hostels as per their wants.
Admission
First one needs to appear KIITEE Management Test or he/she should be qualified in CAT/XAT/MAT. Then the shortlisted student list will be released and the students will be further taken for GD and PI Round. To apply for the KIITEE MANAGEMENT test, it will be available on the KIIT School of Management website around the last month of the year. There are various benefits like fees waiver, if a student ranks from 1-5 in KIITEE then there will be a 50%waiver in the fees
Interview Experience
Yes, for getting admitted to the course one needs to qualify KIITEE Management test first, the successful candidates will be facing GD/PI, and after that selected candidates will get a mail for being selected. The GD topic we're basically on recent trends going on in the country. Basic knowledge about the country and speaking confidently about your skills is a must.
