Remarks

So finally the conclusion one thing I have definitely learned is that this is definitely not anybody's dream college although it can be worse it ain't that and I can't really do anything because I think I got what I deserved.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE was the exam I had given and due to not getting enough marks I could not get selected. I chose this college because of my relatives advice and my brother stays nearby. There were not many options left for me at the time as well so you could say that I came to the only college that I was eligible in plus the fees also is comparatively low then other private colleges.

Internships Opportunities

Yes I have been told by the seniors and as well by our faculties that internships are available but you really do need to do serious work to get it because opportunities are few.

Placement Experience

3

Okk so seniors are like even if u get any job that would be incredible while faculties are like you will get brilliant jobs once you have great GPA or CGPA. It's really hard to believe someone so I guess we just really need to do our work as we mean it.

College Events

3

Basically since this is not the main campus so not many fests are held here all are held in KTR campus but we are allowed to go there on our own expenses. I would say that fests is not really a thing here. Recently few competitions were held of cricket, Futsal, mini militia and FIFA where one had pay the entry fees make a team of their own and get registered.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For first year tuition fees is 210000 and for the next three uss it will be 200000. Hostel fees is 62000 for non attached bathroom and it is 67000 for attached ones. Hostels are not really great though so I think of someone is a day scholar they are better off than us. Then the mess charge is 60000 for the worst food someone can make. Definitely feasible I believe though.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah I have seen on the official website about scholarships given to students for attaining a fixed CGPA at the end of the year. Regarding loans few of the students have taken it I know who stay in the hostel. Scholarship are hard earned I have learnt from the seniors because getting high CGPA is not a easy task for v everyone.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facilities are seriously very bad on my opinion because of electricity , WiFi and broken toilets and bathrooms. Plus they don't even get the toilets repaired even after complaining. The warden is just as bad as the hostel is . And don't really ask about the food because it's the worst someone can eat or even taste. Related menu's every week without a hint in change everyone knows what is there to eat everyday.

Alumni/Alumna

Good thing about this college is no ragging so one can freely interact with the seniors without fear. Seniors basically tell us everything they have experienced yet. The alumni network is really one thing I have no idea about what's it like.

Exam Structure

Labs are not the worst here but not the greatest as well. My first cycle test is going on right now so yeah I have some idea about the exams. Students from different branches are made to sit together and subjects are different so no cheating possible yeah plus two invigilators in each class of 44 strength is good enough as well . Papers are of 75no. And 2 hours are allotted so that's not bad either. The level of the paper is basically what is taught in the class.

Admission

By giving the entrance exam. I had secured a rank of 70k. I had secured 126 in the paper. Then I had to wait for the result and counselling call. When I came to Chennai my brother helped me out in the on campus admission. I had to do the on campus enrollment . The entire process took 4 hours due to rush. Later I was already allotted my hostel so that was the first time I visited it. On next day other all processes were done and dusted.

Faculty

2.5

Ah finally someone asked me this. Few of our facilities are really really incredible in my opinion who really get behind our backs to make us understand the thing they are teaching. While few other faculties just come in the class and say things like it's their only duty and leave the class and some other faculties don't even do that properly it's like they are just passing their time.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
