Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it helps you understand the financial aspects and operations of companies. It teaches you Accounting, Economics, Management studies and also about the financial markets. The teaching faculty is excellent, they make learning easier and better. Many of the faculty members are Phd holders. The exams were conducted in 2 terms, one as the unit test and the semester examination along with project work.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as Franchis3e, ICICI Lombard, MSX International Pvt Ltd and CA firms have provided with internship offers with stipend usually based on the performance. But there have also been many such Internships that have given us a fruitful result and experience.
Placement Experience
Students who are pursuing their degree and are in their last year are eligible for campus placement. Many companies have visited and made offers such as ICICI Lombard, BSE, Sutherland, Motilal Oswal and so on. Many students are successfully placed at great companies from these campus placements. I am planning to pursue MBA in Finance as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure when compared to all the other colleges around is moderate and affordable, One has to enroll themselves with the placement cell to receive campus jobs. Placement trainings are also help by the college which helps us understand the placement procedure in a better manner.
Campus Life
Pillai's College of Arts, Commerce and Science is reknowned fof its biggest festival that is Alegria. Each department believes in celebrating the festival as a family and its the festival of joy. Library provides facilities for books nd journals. It also provides us the facility of E-Learning. Classroom are well equipped and ventilated. They have projectors and smart board to make learning and presentations easier for us. Regarding sports and extra curriculars there are different committees in the college which help children grow in their fields of interest and participate.
Admission
The admission procedure was easy and simple to understand. As my admission had started in the year 2020 that was during the covid period the procedure was online, yet therewas continuous help provided by the faculty and admission office through calls and mails. I am pursuing Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance. The eligibility criteria for this course in the 1st round was above 85%
