Course Curriculum Overview
I would love to make my career in Electronics communication, I have opted EC branch. I have read EC course curriculum and RBS has finest course curriculum. The Usually this is an independent choice and we should check and explore career options before opting engineering stream. If we would like to serve government jobs then we should prefer Mechanical Engg, Electrical engg, chemical engg and electronics. If would like to continue software engineer role then select computer science/ Information Technology.
Internships Opportunities
yes, we have taken internship from ITI Allahabad, where I learned about big lathe machines and electronics procedures. then further I did my internship from BHEL Haridwar where we learn more practical concepts of Electronics and usages in real systems.
Placement Experience
At that time we didn't have good placement & job opportunities, further in 2002 we didn't have a good job in the market. Now college is more mature and we have good placement cell and we have a good job opportunity. Now the most of the SW companies are coming in college campus for job interview and placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee has 2 type - government seat and private seat. In the year 2002, government seat fee was 19000 Rs/year while private seat fee was 63000 RS/year Additionally, I need to pay 8000 RS /year for Hostel and ~10000 RS/year for food.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is Uttar Pradesh Technical University based, we have 8 semesters in 4 years, each of the semester we have 8 exams except last semester where we have project work. We have a lab also in each semester. We have 5 months semester and 1month break in each semester. we need to complete the 2internship in 4 years period.
Admission
I gave UP level entrance engineering examination, secured good rank. We have State level counseling in Moti Lal Nehru regional engineering college, where I opted FET RBS college for EC stream. RBS college is one of the oldest college and 2nd old institute in UP in the category of the private college. This college has the history of more than 100 years and was doing well in Agriculture and Commerce. THis college has strong technical staff. Nowadays this college has good technical staff and labs.
