Remarks

Management was good enough. The only concern was regarding the campus and placement opportunities.now at least after 7-8 years of establishment, even now the scenarios haven't improved much yet in this aspect.

Entrance Preview

Cg pre-engineering test, I scored rank of 1200 and took mechanical engineering stream based on rank and counseling I got this college amongst the starting few seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The college is AICTE an affiliated and CSVTU university. good curriculum and academic environment wid experienced faculties from the parent college.in the 1st year we faced difficulty in terms of faculties but in next 1 year, it was a bit challenging. Although the management was prompt enough in taking measures to improve its results.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah 2 vocational training in Bhilai steel plant provided for exposure in our field .me being a mechanical engineer and working in core sector realise the benefit of such training right from day 1 of my job without a prior experience of visiting such place it would have been not so easy to get used to the ever demanding strength and stamina to work in such atmosphere.

Placement Experience

1.5

Well being the first batch wasn't much expected. Although tie-ups wid few open portals and open campuses wid training and placement cell were good enough in making us ready for the process.was selected for 3 companies and finally working in one of them.

College Events

3.5

Technical quizzes nice training and placement cell robotics and other such events organized regularly. good exposure to various programs offered by prestigious institutes like its Nits etc.d debates and seminars workshops were organized on a regular basis.with nice support from the staff and management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was at par wid the industry standards. Although the paying scheme was not so flexible at that time and the entire money was deposited at the beginning itself giving no option for people wid not so privileged background. some kind of a backend support is always expected at least by a meritorious student with not so privileged economic background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not really. This facility was not provided, and yeah one cannot expect much from a private college in terms of such facilities. But the college should at least look at such facilities in retrospect.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life was good. Events were organized regularly and engaged in all types of such extracurricular and curriculum activities. events pertaining to academic and non-academic life was done .exposure to industry-oriented courses were offered to us by the management.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel was a decent one with all the basic facilities in place. Although the first year building was a rented one which later got shifted to the actual hostel in the campus .but overall all settled too soon and quite good after getting settled we had all the necessary facilities for us and enjoyed the rest of time quite nicely.

Alumni/Alumna

Being the first batch.it was little bit different scenarios for us.wid literally no guidance from the senior, but the atmosphere was such since the college campus had 2 other parent college from the same group .so all was good in this aspect

Exam Structure

Very well managed. Although delays in examination schedule and results were an unavoidable part of the scheme. But the overall it was a quite well-managed structure followed and wid time passing it just got better and better. The University should make its processed more sound and student friendly

Admission

Through clearing CG state pre-engineering test and scoring rank of 1200 I managed to get an admission into this college. The admission can also be taken through AIEEE or management's quota. free seat and scholarship scheme of government is applicable here.

Faculty

2.5

Very well qualified and experienced.overall good in terms of academic environment.library and the lab was decent and help was provided from deducted faculty.although not many guest lectures or any extra support was given for any special references, but the infrastructural changes were done on a regular basis to make things work out well for its students.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
