Likes

I like the social interaction here. Students from all over india come and interact.
The library is very huge and all subjects books are widely available
The course plan is nice. Study pattern is good for learning

Dislikes

The campus intake is too high. 6k students in just cse!! It’s too much crowded
The hostel in time for boys is 9 and for girls is 6:30.
College is not strict for students leaving and coming to college in day time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am in CSE core and the course curriculum is very good here. The faculties are okay not too good because of their south Indian accent. But they are supportive. The teacher-student ratio is also fine. Exams are conducted almost monthly. They are easy but passing marks are 50%

Internships Opportunities

Students can get good internships from numerous companies in 3rd year and if you are extraordinary then you might get it before 3rd year. The average stipend is also decent. It is important to do good projects to get better internships and jobs.

Placement Experience

Students can get placed after 3rd year. Many companies visit the campus. Most mass recruiters come so the average package is a bit low but many marquee companies also visit and offer great packages to good students. The highest package went 1CR also. Many students get a 20L+ package also depending on how well they have done

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very high. 4 lakhs per year. Scholarship on the main campus is for the first 500 students in the entrance exam. On other campuses more students get scholarships. Job and internship opportunities are also good here.

Campus Life

Milan and aaruush are the two major firsts of srm and many people come to these fests. Social life is very cool here. People are interactive. It has a huge library so we can find many books. Many sports activities are available. Many clubs exist and function very actively.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel amenties are nice. All the basic needs are taken care of. The food quality is good but taste is ew. The hostel registration is online on first come first serve basis so we have to be very quick in hostel booking.

Hostel Fee: INR 315000 per year

Admission

The exam was online. There were online proctors who took care of us. The overall strictness was nice but still, people can cheat in online exams. I got a decent 800 rank and got admission to CSE core on the main campus.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
