Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE in SRM cause this is the course for which SEM is known. It has good placement in CSE with an average package of 7-8 lacks per annum. The faculty is also good in our college. There are almost 3 cyclic tet in one semester and 1 end semester exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that come for internships for eg DE shaw, Scaler, trilogy, math co. They all offer various roles such as software development engineer, data analyst, business analyst and many more. They also have various stipends such as for trilogy which was 70k per month, for DE shaw it was 1.5 lakhs per month.

Placement Experience

Campus placements start from the 6th semester onwards. The internship starts from the 5th semester onwards. There are 700-800 companies that visit SRM for placements. In CSE they offer 100% placement with average placement of 7-8 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 3.5 lakhs per annum for cse students. They also give scholarships based on performance. A defence scholarship is also provided in our college. In case of financial assistance SRM is very helpful and always ready to listen to our queries

Campus Life

The annual fest in srm is Milan and there's also one tech fest which is Aarush. It is a national-level techno-management fest. s Srm has a very big library of 3 floors with almost all books available. There are more than 50 clubs in SRM. It also has NCC which has both naval and army wings. sRM also has different sports quotas for the students.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in a flat near SRM and that's Abode valley. It's almost one kilometre aways from SRM and has decent flats. U can hire one cook and maid there. Apprx early expense is about 1.5 lakhs for staying in the abode. It also has a swimming pool and sports facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

I went through SRMJEE. The exam was not that tough and the syllabus was for the 11th and 12th. I also got a defence scholarship in my college of 30%. One can find the application form on the official site of SRM. They also give 100% scholarships to those who come under the top 100 in SRMJEE

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
