Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose mathematics because I wanted to pursue higher studies in this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is good keeping in mind the class strength. Faculty are highly qualified and considered to be the best to be found in the city. Term exams are conducted per semester wise and passing them is pretty easy for an average student.

Internships Opportunities

4

We were offered job placements from Braintree and a music company that wanted to hire young graduates for learning music. I didn't actually want to pursue music or IT. The stipend was really low too and if it wasn't enough for me.

Placement Experience

3.5

Almost all the students got jobs and placements in their respective fields with a decent package. The 3rd semester students get the opportunity to sit in the placement seminars and interviews. Braintree visited and gave the highest package of 3.5 lakh/annum and lowest of 2.75 Lakh/annum. I am thinking to persue higher studies after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy was a little odd to consider, as it was annoying but not noticeable. I didn't apply for any scholarship and we did get financial assistance from our faculty. I wasn't impressed with campus placement offers.

Campus Life

3

The classroom amenities are decent. The social groups are really active on our campus, one of them being the student council run by the students. The sports in our college are really great though and I wouldn't complain as a sportsman. The library offers a good amount of books with the availability of books from different authors.

Admission

The admission process was really difficult and understanding it wasn't so easy. The details can be found on sams website. There are some other benefits for sc/st students though as also sports and NCC quota and I do want to see improvement in the admission process, in such a way that the process is well understood and simple for the students.
