Course Curriculum Overview

6 months semester I choose this course for business purposes. Faculty-student ratio 15:1. All faculties are professors and assistant professors with a great experience of knowledge. For exam pass, I would like to say you attend all the classes of all subjects in other words if you maintain your attendance of 80% you can pass easily.

As a chartered accountant, I used to prepare and learn how to maintain the balance sheet. I do my internship off campus. The college allowed me easily to attend but at the time of the exam, I had to sit the examination.

Placement Experience

Placement takes place in the 4th semester out of the 6th sem. Package average 7.45 after masters And 5.45 after bachelor 60% get placement after masters And 40% after bachelor My plan is to get qualified civil services exams.

Scholarship depends on your entrance exam result. If you score 90% on that exam, There is a definitely scholarship for you. Here also provide reservations for ST/SC and regional based reservations. You can also apply for educational loan.

Campus Life is friendly, healthy, supportive, and peaceful with horn free campus. In-class coordination and support of students among themselves are very good and also supportive faculties including management. There is a student welfare department for problem solutions for students.

Admission

Admission exam compulsory exam name CU entrance exam Questions are easy and some moderate level. The cut-off is likely to average between 60% to 70%. Firstly you have to fill out the application for admission.

Being a new here i dont kow much about the placements here. But i saw a chart of the placement being offered to previous batch studens higest placement was 11 lakh per annum, and lowest was 4 lak per annum For ore placements u have to work hard and score a good CGPA to be eligible for placements. Firstly every course have different fee structure. As my course is BCOM so i think if you need to make some higher knowledge of commerce you should go for it because it can help you to make your overall basic knowledge good even if you don't related to commerce stream in 11th or 12th. the way of teaching in the collage is good but still some of the teachers don't have interest to teach their student in the better way. exam system in the collage is good and its difficuly level is moderate also its depend on the subject and point of view of the students

My Dream college

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for enrollment into campus placements in the 2nd semester . We have been enrolled into placement classess and we will be graduating in 2023. According to the stats we have around 800+companies for placements and avg pacakge offered is 5LPA. Currently, I am not into placement so talking about the top placements and the ratio of placements will be biased. But we have been provided with top notch facilities to help develop skills and crack interview. Top recruiters - delloit, kpmg, JpMorgan etc. short internships were provided to students in their first year and with ending of 2nd year we will be doing a full force internship.

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. A Student's Perspective ( Chandigarh University ) in Review

I haven't applied for other colleges because i was convinced for the college only my some of the friends were already studying in this college they told me everything about is and i also researched so much about this college before admission. Also the number of companies visits for placement was large. Admission process was simple When you visit their website and you show interest for admission they gives you and personal counsellor Who tells you about the admission process sometime if you stuck in every step they do it for you. there are two processes 1 is 12th merit based which is a direct entry if you got above 90 percent in your 12th Standard and 2ND - CUCET Enterance exam which is compulsory for Non direct Admissions There is nothing like cutoff in this exam this is a selection based exam but you have to get more than 40% marks in this exam for scholarship....Read More
