Course Curriculum Overview
BTech Biotechnology is the course in which both stream students can take admission and this course has great scope in all pharma, food, fermentation, quality, and vaccine discovery. In my class, the no. of students was less due to corona time, in our junior 20+ each year. In the rest another branch there are large no.of students. Hod, deputy hod, and senior professor are Ph.D. and the rest faculty are master's degree holders. There are 8 semesters in BTech in each semester there are 2 minor tests, 1 pre-university test, practical and final university test. Mt is of 30 marks and students should secure 30% to pass, normally student can clear the exam if he/she studies attending regular classes.
Internships Opportunities
Internship in CSIR labs and in companies too like boost , Venus remedies and more. Project was done by students and acc. to which internal marks are gevin. And if successful then favoured by faculty. ...
Placement Experience
Placements are there. After 6th semester we are eligible to sit in a company interview. So many companies are visiting according to branch for our branch the companies are Biocon, pulses, 7 pm, as a consultant, etc. 70% placement rate. The average package is 4 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are deposit semester-wise, at the beginning of the semester. Sambhavna NGO provides scholarships to students. And students who come through counseling get full scholarships. Placement is the, and placement and training department is there who makes you fit for the job.
Campus Life
Gyan Jyoti is the fest that occurs yearly and many fests and events were organized by our college like alumni meet, workshops, etc. The college library is too big we get all books of the semester from our library and all newspaper daily all Hindi, and English language. Sports events were also organized by the college. Every branch has a respective society and it was managed by students and organized events, and competitions between students.
Admission
The student should pass and have at least 60%. in matriculate and intermetriculate. The application form is available in the college itself. And the fee for the form is rs 1000 rs. The college also provides scholarship opportunities to deserving candidates.
