Good and reputed college with great placements, The teacher: student ratio is good and also the quality of the faculty is good too. there are electives available to choose from in each semester. There are regular exams ( mid sem and end sem )

The internship opportunities are the same as that of placements. A 2-month internship has to be done at the end of the 3rd year, which will usually be provided by the college. The internship stipend ranges from 40k to 2 lakhs.

The placements here are excellent, better than most IITs. Placements are held at the end of the 7th semester. Hundreds of companies visit the campus. Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Sprinkler, Uber, Amazon, Oracle, Cisco, Flipkart, Samsung, Salesforce, and Adobe. A lot of software and banking MNCs hire from IITBHU, also companies hire in core subjects such as Electronics and Mechanical Mining too. More than 300+ PPO offers were given, the Highest package -1,20,00,000 The average CTC of CSE is easily above 45 lakhs. Similarly for lower branches. most companies are open to all branches. this any student can easily get a package above 20 even in lower branches. All students are placed every year unless they want to go for higher studies.

The cost is much less than private institutions, around 1.25 lakh a semester including mess and hostel fees. Also, there are various scholarships available through college and throughout the year many more scholarships are available. Also, you are guaranteed to get a good job here with an intern stipend around 80k and placement above 25 LPA

Kashi Yatra and Technex are IIT BHUs cultural and tech fest, conducted in January and march respectively. One can watch the official fest clips from the youtube channel. All sports are available here and we have a sports fest too called spardha and an Inter IIT sports competition every year. There are a huge number of clubs from games, art, design music, journalism, and robotics to name a few.

There are 2 students per room (3 in the first year ). The meal quality is nice and much better compared to many other colleges. Also, there is an option to change the mess, so you can choose a different one according to your liking. There is a Saatvik mess which gives jain preferred food, and a south Indian mess too. Regarding PG there are not many options, but they are there.

The admission is through JEE Advanced. You need to first clear JEE Mains in order to be eligible for JEE advanced. The application is through JOSAA. Also, there is a reservation for SC ST and OBC candidates
