Course Curriculum Overview

Dental surgery is surely a field that will soon be flourished with great opportunities. Recently BDS programme has also adopted the semesterly system, according to which there will be a 2-semester exam in a year and the syllabus will also be decided according to that.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 313000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College offers final year BDS student internships at their hospital itself. The interns get paid. And internship period sort of includes posting in all nine departments respectively. And our college is very particular about the days for internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Govt colleges don't show many hikes in their fees but Generally, 10% of the total fees is increased either every year or once in 3 years in private colleges. That totally depends on the private colleges and the state they belong to.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is totally a new world .. where you are responsible for most of your thing. MY college has a special quality in that it has a special library for medical students only. Which like literally has all sorts of reference books and standard books.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel has all sorts of rooms like single rooms double sharing and triple sharing, AC or Non Ac rooms. It is total up to you what you prefer and obviously prize also differs for all the above. And the price is really affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

Need to pass NEET UG exam (ACCORDING TO NTA GUIDELINES). If you have cleared the NEET UG then you have to apply for the counselling round which is of two types. 1st is ALL India counselling and the other is state-wise counselling which is basically counselling occurring state-wise. Through counselling, only colleges are allowed. There are several reserved seats for the reserved categories in government colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a neet aspirant only i decided i want to go for BDS and not MBBS for BDS is a more specialized course focusing only on the oral cavity and care. There are in total 9 branches under BDS and each branch in itself has huge scope in outer world. We start dealing with real patients from third year only so we have real experience of everything and by the time internship completes, we have enough knowledge to open a clinic of our own. And best part, BHU provides 50% internal qouta for its students so we've a better chance of getting a good pg seat from such a prestigious institution.

Placement Experience:

After the 4th year, there is a 1-year internship after which you can apply for a job or you can open your own clinic. Top dental companies come to college for jobs. Student after bds get the job of 30k per month The percentage is approx 60% you can open a clinic or apply for government job.
