Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Btech In CSE with specialization in AIML cause of my interest in Computer and Software Development also cause of the positive reviews from my senior which i got regarding the computer sci courses in SRM it is a well structured course which takes you from beginner to advance level plus the faculty are very friendly towards student and help them with their doubts and querry.Most of the faculty use practical knowledge method to teach in class ,the qualification of fuculty of computer science department is phd

Internships Opportunities

Internship Oppurtunity is given to students from 5th semester where we have to enroll on superset and then company releases the vacancy on superset paltform ,Companies which comes for internship are Bijus , TCS,Scalar , Barkley's etc...

Placement Experience

So our college provide placement from 5TH semester which starts with online internship/offline workshops forwarded by our soft skill and hard skill training,the average package of our college SRMIST is 12 lpa but it changes

Fees and Financial Aid

So SRM have different campus like Ktr,Ramapuram and Delhi-NCR and the fee structure vary from campus to campus but the basic fee structure fro Computer Science branch is between 190000 to 200000,Speeking about Scholarship so yes SRM do give scholarship if you score good rank in SRMJEEE like under 100 or if you have scored good rank state board or central board plus if somehow you fail to get scholarship in entrance test SRM give Scholarship to student who score 10 cgpa in there semester

Campus Life

The Campus life is good because of the clubs and various oppertunity provided to us by the college like, Hackathons and cultural fest Rubaroo which is generally organised in April.The classroom infrastructure is reall good and we get access to MAC LAB which is one of the best lab and a advantage for SRM .We have clubs like CSI ie computer scoiety of india ,geeks for geeks club,Google Student Developer Club clutural club like Arzoo.We have one of the largest library with online elibrary system where we can issue and reissue the books

Admission

So to get admited or enrolled in SRM Engineering Branch one should have to give SRMJEEE which is the official entrance test for the SRMIST and eligiblity for SRMJEEE is one should have PCM ie Physics + Chemistry + Math with an average score of 60 percentage then you are eligible to give SRMJEEE which is conducted in 3 phases from May to August ,you can apply for SRMJEEE from offficial SRM website srmist.edu.in/admissions-india

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. I was accepted into Christ University and Vellore Institute of Technology but the NIRF rank of SRM compelled me to join here. This campus being close to my hometown was the perfect choice for me. SRM University Ghazibad Review

Other colleges I applied are MM college CCS University, KN Miet and IP University. I choose this college over the others because I don't want to go far from my city and this is the only college that fulfilling my requirement.
