Entrance Preview

I took JEE, I got the rank 2439. I opted for this particular because It was largest and has good name in industry. Also it was close to home and food was to my liking. I found out about food by Alumni.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are very good centrally meaning consultancy, analytics, business etc, while in my department it could be better. General electrics, and core recruiters Hi-fi companies comes once in 2-3 years due to student leaving the companies after a few months for an entrepreneurship or startup. Highlight in Core recruitment: While Rolls-Royce was opened for M. Tech. Students in our department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my mind fee structure is very very feasible, It is around Rs. 60000 (max) /semester including mess fees. First of loans are easily available without any mortgage for studying in CIET. After that many Scholarship are available for all type of students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good, 24 hours water/electricity and internet. Wi-Fi anywhere in campus. And LAN 1 Gb/s in rooms. First year/Second years.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is also very robust. They have a very good network in USA and very much help in Halls sports or extracurricular activities. Our latest academic building Nalanda Complex is made out of donations of Alumni.

Faculty

While in first year faculties are very much interactive or approachable and their are large amount of student in classes in department where student per class is high, faculties are very approachable and mild mannered except one or two exceptions. Teaching quality is also good.

IIT Madras Experience

Placement Experience:

You cannot doubt the placement of IIT Madras. The college provides one of the best placements for us and the college has a record of 100% placement. Few of my batchmates received the pre-placement offers during the internship program. The efforts of the placement committee are really superb we have to register our names with the placement committee for placement. The placement committee makes sure that every one of us is properly placed. The highest package for our batch was around 78 LPA and the average package was around 22.50 LPA. Around more than 75+ companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.

My College campus is super spacious

Remarks:
