Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to choose the course because I love mechanical engineering. But unfortunately, the faculty I got was not well qualified as to be. I was very upset those days. The passing criteria were simple you score only 30% and you got it easily.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got admission the total fees for one year were nearly 70000. But two year before the fees was around 54000. Yes, you got scholarships. I got all four-year scholarships nearly 55000 per year. But in the final year government set the criteria that those whose CGPA is above 6.5 got the scholarships. But my CGPA was good.

Campus Life

When I was a college student only one time my senior arranged the tech fest activity. When we became seniors they not gave us funds for organizing cultural activities and tech fest. Yes, the sport was organized by the students. We played in a cricket tournament and we won.

Admission

I got admission from UPSEE 2016 (AKTU). Then I fill the college of my choice and got admission B.Tech in mechanical engineering. I got 284 marks in UPSEE 2016. Many students whose scores were less than mine also got admission too.

An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

Placement Experience:

As of now , CSE graduating students are getting placed. Out of 120 , 35 are placed in companies like ZOMATO, PHONEPE , JP MORGAN, Zepto, WNS etc. 50% on campus , 50% off campus. Last year, all the CSE students will be in Bangalore centre of RGIPT for better placement offers. 3 years at jais campus and last year at Bangalore campus. Placements till now are not good. I want to enter to a good ai company . Placement percentage is low but package is good , all above 10 Lpa.

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.
