Fests - Various cultural events, technical events happen
sports- you can play various sports here like football, cricket etc
faculty members- teachers are supportive here

placement for other branches like mechanical and civil
canteen isn't much good and spacious here

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are overall Good and supportive, in a branch, there are 60 to 120 students, the teaching method is also good, in each semester there are two-term test and one main exam, In the first year and fourth-year exam is done by Mumbai university, whereas in SE and TE exam is conducted by college only

from the 7th semester students become eligible for placements, many companies like media. net, sogo lytics, Tikona, it industries hire students in large numbers, overall cs it companies come in large number, highest salary offered is about 12 to 15 LPA, average package is about 4lpa, my plans after getting a degree is to do masters and to do further studies

Fees and Financial Aid

if admission is done through offline Prcoss then fees are almost 94thousand, whereas if you're doing admission through the online process(CAP )round etc and if your family income is less than 6 Lpa, you can apply for a scholarship, in which you have to pay 50k just each year instead of 94k

Annual Fest named 'UTSAV ' And Carnival is held every year in months of feb and march, books and journals are available in large amount, talking about sports, various sports competitions are held every year, many clubs like for coding code-yantra club is there etc

Admission

The admission process here was simpler as compared to other colleges, basically, you can go either offline admission or online admission through the CAP round, for CS/IT average cutoff is 90 percentile and above in JEE, but for other branches like mechanical, civil cutoff is less as compared to computer branch and IT branches

Reality of VIT, Pune

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical engineering has been the most interesting and very formal subject from the starting of engineering schools. Also, my interest for automobiles, automoblie industries and mechanical subjects is the driving factor for me to opt this course. But, as the subjects has evolved, so not the curriculum. Core mechanics subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechatronics comes in 2 nd and third year of curriculum which is very late. No changes in subjects and curriculum according to real industry. The curriculum is not up-to-date which rather waste the time of student inistead of learning new skills and skiils which are required in the market. Also the exams in the our college, has been the same like every other colleges. Viva, course projects , industry projects, and written exams. Curriculum needs a mojor boost like it need to add new subjects through which we can learn skills to be industry ready, in addition with the core subjects. Moving on to topic of exams, and overall the exams are easy to crack and the difficulty is medium. The good part of exams is that every subjects has its own course projects which require every set of skills. There are 4 course projects and 1 industry projects which require a lot of skills and in the process we learn many software likes solidworks ansys and cutocad like softwares.

MIT WPU : The Reality

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually pretty average of 7-10LPA and usually students with CGPA of 7-9 sit for the campus placements. I would say around 40% students get placed decently. If no campus placement, the course is so diverse that you can easily get jobs if you have the skills.

I already said I am a newcomer here , but about placement I can say it will improve much , because now it have its own campus Currently it's average package is 17 LPA In 2024 50% of students got placed ,in 2023 60% got placed , but all it was in its temporary campus, since it has its own campus, we can expect a better placement percentage

SLRTCE with Great Improvements

The MHTCET conduct exam for colleges in maharashtra for Engineering. It had 3 round for college selection if you got college in first round it had option for freeze or betterment. Aplications dates are given on the MHTCET weebsite itself. It conduct every year for beast colleges in Maharashtra.
