Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the PGDM course. The faculties are very professional, helpful and interactive with their students. They always encourage students to active participation in class. On average, there are 50 students in a class. We have exams in every 2 months and before exams, a proper revision class is taken for each subject.
Internships Opportunities
I was in the top three to get an internship at Colgate Palmolive within three months of joining my campus. It was my first experience sitting for an internship. My teachers guided me through that and helped me a lot. The stipend offered was 20,000 per month and the duration is for two months.
Placement Experience
A student is eligible for placement from the 4th semester. The top companies visiting the campus are EY India, Wells Fargo, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, HeroFinCorp, Tata Metaliks, PWC and a lot more. On average 5 offers are made with an average CTC of 9.5 LPA and the highest being 17.6 LPA. Overall 95% of students are placed. My plans after getting a degree would be to secure a better position in the corporate world and achieve all happiness I can think of.
Fees and Financial Aid
Praxis provides scholarships too. Women students, students without any educational gap get scholarships after meeting the eligibility criteria. Students can opt for education loans also. The cost of the study is affordable.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing at Praxis Business School. We have our annual fest Spardha in February and Rangmanch and Khoj in the months of August and March respectively. We have a library which has all the books, and journals. Daily newspapers are provided. We have several clubs including sports, cultural, debate, quiz, HR, etc. Coming to sports, we have badminton, cricket, carrom, chess, pool, basketball, table tennis, etc. The classrooms are fully equipped.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for the hostel facility and life at the hostel is quite different. We are provided with single rooms. There are two operating canteens with good food quality. There is a geyser provided in common bathrooms and washrooms. The hostel fees are affordable too.
Admission
A very straightforward application process. We had an essay writing and then a personal interview. I got the reference for this college from my counsellor and he helped me with the same. Other colleges have long procedures for admission but Praxis's is the best.
Interview Experience
We had faced a written essay and then an interview for admission. With the help of my counsellor and the internet, I prepared myself for both rounds. The process was short, unlike other colleges. I had an online procedure so everything was conducted in a zoom meeting.
