Course Curriculum Overview

As a student, I choose this course because I wanna become an engineer. Student ratio is perfect ie., -1500-2000 students in college. The teachers are very supportive and experienced. Exams are conducted as per the SPPU university.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship companies like IBM, PROU, OASIS INFOBYTE, CODER BATCH, etc allow students to get experience and pay 4000-5000 Rs. as a stipend. Projects such as app development, web development, graphic design, etc help students to get interred at these companies.

Placement Experience

For better placement opportunities, students should clear all studying years with at least 7GPA Or above. Companies such as IBM, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, TCL, and WIPRO come to the college for interviewing students. The highest on-campus package is about 17 LPA. Off off-campus package is about 35LPA. About 60-65 percent students get placed in reputed companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are about -3.15-3.25 LPA, for those students who are getting into this college as management. For students who get into this college by passing cet exam have to pay 1.30LPA Scholarships such as ebc, obc, and minority are also available. Job opportunities are a little fewer.

Campus Life

Campus life is very excellent. Hackathons, traditional fest, and many more programs are conducted regularly per year. Ample of books are available in the library. A sports facility is also available. The huge cricket ground and football turf are available. Different clubs are also present to evolving many students together.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good. I suggest that students should avoid taking admission. The meal facility is to be taken separately as it does not come under the hostel facility. Rooms are spacious but tables, chairs, and cupboards are not provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Admission is through CAP rounds which are conducted by MT-CET. Basically, it is an entrance exam conducted all over Maharashtra and in India. To apply admission for to this college you need to get at least an 83.95%Cet exam. The further admission process is offline at the administrative office of this college

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
