Course Curriculum Overview
I had a great interest in CSE so I opted for it. The faculty-student ratio here is 10:1. The teachers are qualified and helpful. All the learning is practically based and the curriculum keeps on changing according to current trends. The pass percentage here is 40% and the grading system is relative. There are different credits for different subjects.
Internships Opportunities
There are two internship processes conducted throughout the course, one is for two months and another for 6 months time period. This is compulsory to go through these two internships. The university provides good companies for internships but the stipends are not so great.
Placement Experience
The placements are a bit average compared to other colleges and universities. The average BTech placement is 8.50 LPA and the highest is around 35 LPA in the CSE branch. There are good companies that visit for the process like KMPG, Service Now, Delloite, TVS, Hero, etc. Around 90% + of students get placed here. My plan is also to get a good placement offer on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are a bit very high in comparison to other colleges and universities. Course fees - 313000 Hostel fees - 170000(approx) These keep on changing and they provide scholarships in accordance with JEE percentile, class 12th board result, merit, and sports. You have to maintain it by bringing good grades in sems.
Campus Life
The campus life here is great with very good infrastructure and facilities. The fest conducted 67 milestones and a mini-fest also included sports in it. They are conducted every here. The library is the best place to be here on campus with all the resources. There are clubs and fun activities conducted on campus. There are good facilities for sports.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very great here on campus. There are options for accommodation like single occupancy, double and triple occupancy, and apartments with a bit of extra facility. The food is above average and you will find a variety of food being served here.
Admission
Eligibility is Class 12th aggregate of 60% in PCM All the candidates can apply from the official site of Bml Munjal University. They need to register for the entrance exam and then have to do the institute registration. Students can join on the basis of their JEE scores also. There are scholarships on basis of merit, Jee, Sports and others. No benefit for reservations.
