Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of my interest in the electrical field. Faculty-student ratio is average. 3 faculty per subject are available. Faculties are Post graduated from IIT'S. Exams are organized 3 times in one semester. 30% marks are needed to pass the exam.

Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity is available for all-year students but depends on companies selection criteria. If you are eligible for companies requirements then you will get an internship on campus only. Projects are in last year and industrial visit every year from 2nd year onwards.

Placement Experience

6th-semester students get eligible for placement. Companies for eg. Accenture, TCS, etc. visit our campus every year. They hire students at an average package of 5lakh per annum. Nearly 94% of students get placed on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are far best as a comparison to other engineering colleges nearby. A government scholarship of nearly 50k is also available. The placement cell prepares the student for placement from the very first year. College allows you to sit in placement from 3rd year.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Kolhaal which is organized every year for all branch students. A chief guest is called in our college to entertain students. A variety of social groups are run by students as well as faculties to boost students' co-curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are average. The rooms are not so good but can be adjusted. Mess food is acceptable. There is one canteen also if you don't like mess food. Several PG or rooms are available near the MIET bypass for eg Godwin, vedvyaspuri, etc.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is that you must have qualified JEE mains or have at least 75% in class 12th. The application, form is free. Counseling fees are adjusted in your fees. Reservation is also available.

Interview Experience

3.5

College organized every month one group discussion. Trending topics are picked for Group discussion. Interview preparation is done using previous years' patterns of companies asking questions to students.

Placements in my college is good , and tries to place the students as much as possible, the heighest package of my college is 49 lacks per annum. And average package is 6 lacks per annum. Name of the compnies visited- Accenture, Tcs, Delloite etc.

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).
