Remarks

Senior students who are placed in core companies do have lot of interactions with us. It enable us to build us in our field and how to develop ourselves to get placed in that company. They also provide lot of information about other companies from their experience.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam is needed. I chose Electronics & Tele communications in this institute since it has quite good facilities and placement records rather than other colleges. Admission will be given based on your entrance exam rank and interview will be held on the day of admission

Course Curriculum Overview

Nowadays the standard of engineering studies is going worse at an extreme. This college provides a good opportunity to survive in the field of engineering.If the student is keen is his/her studies they can understand the concepts and can apply those in their projects. This college provides an industrial platform inside the college by establishing IT centres of other companies.

Placement Experience

90 out 100 will be placed. companies like syntel ltd,web tech developers, IBM, and other software companies salary package will be around 5 lakhs per annum and it also depend on the position they require and the company. We also had placements from the core companies.

Hostel Facilities

i would rate 5 out of 5 stars. rooms are quite big enough to share among 4 individuals. we will have separate cots, cupboards,table shelves for us. And also there also single seater facility. Mess food its good when compared with other colleges.Food will be based on the menu that we chose. we can choose veg and non veg foods.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
