Entrance Preview

NO competitive exam and secured a rank in my higher secondary examination result. I had the idea of taking up ETC as I could opt for a job in the field of electronics as well. In 2010 the college had a decent rank amongst all the colleges in North Goa It was far off the city but nearer to my home.

Placement Experience

A good amount of Students do get placed at the Service companies. The kind of jobs that are offered are very good ones which a candidate cannot land himself into on his own. The companies that visit provide an average salary of up to 3.6 lakhs per annum. Placement cell is there in our college

Campus Life

Seniors are very friendly.No ragging is there in college.No racism is there in college.Campus is very restricted.Labs are good in quality.Students by their won can conduct sports competition.But robotics,debates are never conducted in our time.Soft skill development which is very important now a days should be conducted in each and every college.

Hostel Facilities

SRIEIT has a highly furnished in campus hostel facility for the boys and girls coming outside. Each hostel will be carefully and strictly managed by their wardens. Well maintained college canteen is very close to hostels. The food quality is verified by Food committee for SRIEIT time to time so that students will get good quality food.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

Faculties are very good.they are helpful as well as well behaved to students.few faculties are not so good as they are new comers in teaching profession.They usually don't take classes.If they come they will start telling inspirational stories of others which are no way helpful for others.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
