Entrance Preview

I haven't go for any entrance test. it was near to my place n college reputation was good, so that's why i took this college.I came to this college through my higher secondary examination result. I opted this college because of the teaching staff and it is the only good college near by my locality so this reason made me to opt this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I opted the Information Technology course at first in first year of engineering all the branches were merged in our class as the subjects were same for all the branches in the first year. Then I entered into the second year that is the branch entry and all the subjects which were in my stream were interesting.

Placement Experience

Yes, here it comes placement and job opportunity is very excellent in our college when compared with our locality or surrounding 100 km area it is very beneficial for information technology, computer engineering, electronic & tele communication students related branches the jobs are very good.

College Events

We had mainly college fest which was yearly. The college fest involved a lot of extra curricular activities and group computer games were also arranged. Fest was an Big Bang event. We could have had even some technical events/fests, it could be more learning and engaging.

Faculty

Each of faculties were very good and had sound knowledge.Many faculties were much knowledegable in subject. Research orientation was much there. Subject knowledge was through needed for learning the subject and executing projects. major support from faculty for projects.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.
