Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because the best and most guaranteed placements are there for CSE as compared to core branches. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:60. Faculties are helpful. All that happens here is exams in 1 semester we give 4 exams namely ct1 ct2 ct3 and university theory.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

These are all internships that came till now: Fidelity: 40000 per month, DeShaw: 150000 per month, Fractal: 30000 per month, Optimeyes: 80000-130000 per month And many more but the one giving above 1 lakh like DeShaw only took 2 students from 3000 that sit for that.

Placement Experience

Internship options start coming from 5 semesters onwards but good companies only give internships to fewer students. DeShaw, fidelity, Barclay, Wells Fargo. Mostly 75 to 80 percent get placed in CSE. I plan to sit for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are too high as per facilities and faculty provided and you only get a scholarship if you score above 9.5 in the semester which is quite difficult. Since I am in 3rd year right so not got a job till now but I am sure will get a job seeing my senior placements.

Campus Life

Due to covid, almost all fest were canceled for my year but now they are planning to conduct a fest named 'Milan' within a couple of months. Most books are available in the library but you won't get any for the open-book exams as students issue them a couple of weeks before the exam. The classrooms are good. Sports are zero on the campus side but hostels provide sports material so if you want to play with your friends you can. Clubs are there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good, rooms are also good but you don't get a single room in a hostel you have either 2 sharing or 3 sharing. Mess food is good but eating for months you will get bored and most importantly you will miss north Indian food the most. The registration process is quite simple you just need to give the hostel payment receipt and Aadhar card to the warden and the room is all yours. I feel hostels are affordable based on the quality they give. I didn't rent a room but most of my friends choose abode after hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 128000 per year

Admission

No in my case Covid was at its peak so no exam was conducted, students were selected based on 10th, and 12th marks, and JEE score but before me, some exam was conducted as an entrance exam for admission to SRM.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
