Remarks

Gender Ratio is low around 7:3 which is much less. But this is common all around India in good colleges. Tier 1 2 3. However there is quite a mix of diversity among students. We have people almost from all around India. Rajasthan, UP, Maharasthra, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Punjab and even Nepal, Abu Dhabi,

Entrance Preview

NO entrance exam.i was admitted directly on the basis of my 10+2 marks and 12th percentage but as the the rules 10+2 is a must for the entrance in college, I opted this college because I have read all information about this Institute and mostly all are in positive..

Campus Life

Females were O.K, in a batch of female students. Most of the students were from Goa itself but few were from different states like UP, Delhi & Bihar etc. Favoritism was happened to the students belonging to some community but nothing much on a bigger scale.

Exam Structure

Engineering was the semester system. exams were conducted and within that internal exams got conducted. Labs & classes used to happen on time, everything was scheduled very professionally. College was very academically sound, would say that students have got the practical exposure at that point of time.

Faculty

Faculty are decent I would say. Depends upon you how you utilize them. If you are eager to learn and show interest they will provide ample opportunity to you to learn, but if you goof around and don't respect faculty then they will just do their JOB. So its a mix of both bad and good.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.
