Remarks

Every college has good and bad things although the administration is active for bad activities like anti ragging anti groupism etc. several clubs also are there.There is an alumni block and cell for teachers passed out from college and also a club is there to find the status of alumni. Alumni of the college are at good govt and private positions.

Entrance Preview

I haven't gave any entrance exam and selection is done according to rank secured in your higher secondary examination result.the exam is now not held and the admissions are done by 10+2 exams.it was recommended by on of my friend as he was the student of this institute.

Placement Experience

Almost 100 students per college are placed every year. placement ratio is 70% of eligible students in the college. several companies like HCL,D link,PCS,TCL and several others organize placements companies generally take interviews, aptitude tests, technical tests, gds and take students who fulfill the criteria.

Hostel Facilities

There are separate hostel for boys and girls.several boys hostel and girl hostels are with good capacity for Be students. hostels provide facilities hostels for boys are divided for every year and rooms are allotted according to the ranks and performance of students hostels contain mess, canteen facilities.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Faculty

Faculties in college are mostly Ph.D from iits and foreign universities.exams for guest faculties are also done for temporary basis. faculties include lab assistants, lecturers, assistance professors,associates deens, registrars.in term of faculties college is quite good. there is also scope for research.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.
