PERSONAL EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT MY COLLEGE

I decided to pursue this course because of the job opportunities present both in the Private sector as well as in the Public sector like FSSAI, FCI, etc. the ratio is 1:40. Qualification of faculty is Ph.D. in a particular field and qualification in NET. The exams were conducted timely and it was moderately difficult.

Companies like NESTLE, DABUR, MOTHER DAIRY, AMUL, PATANJALI, etc provide internship opportunities in Quality management, analysis, quality assurance, marketing, and sales. Certain off-campus internships are also allowed by the college.

Students are eligible for placements after 3rd year of graduation. Placements are not that appreciable as a very less number of companies come to recruit. The percentage would be 50%. for placed students. My plan is to work in IT Sector and build skills and knowledge to be able to pursue entrepreneurship.

The fee structure is fixed and it is 25750/- per sem. and it's the same for all 8 semesters. The scholarship is provided through many govt. schemes or to the students whose father's annual income is below 3lpa.

There are many fests that include the Convocation program, Agricultural fest, and College Exhibition. Clubs like the Sports Club, Dance club, cultural club, Literature club, etc are solely managed by students. Every year in November University organizes an inter-college sports festival. There is also an indoor stadium for badminton and a gym.

Hostel facility is much better as compared to other govt. colleges. Moreover, the college hostels have wifi available and mess service at a very reasonable cost (2600/- per month). The hostel fee is given at the time of registration for next semester i.e 5000/-.

Eligibility criteria are based on the entrance exam called UPCATET organized by Govt. (ICAR). The form is available online, fees would be 1500 for the GEN category, and dates are announced by the particular University that is conducting the exam that year. There are reservations given to OBC/ST/SC, University employees, and handicapped students. All counsellings should be held online instead of only counseling being online and the rest of the counsellings are offline.
