JNU for Overall development

MCA is a job-oriented course that's why students take up this course. Every Semester whole faculty gets changed. The faculty is well qualified but some faculty members are very egoistic. Passing exams is quite easy in JNU, In a semester there are mid and end sem exams.

Placements are average. Only 50% of students are placed yet. In the third semester, companies start visiting campus. Some of the companies are OPTUM, CIENA, XCALIBERATE, and KNOLDUS. The highest package is 14.5 LPA by Optum and the average is around 6-7 LPA. One can choose Ph.D. as an option if one didn't get placed.

The fee is very very low. Only 108 per semester. If you are a day scholar then the amount of 800 per month as MCM will be provided and for hostellers 2000 per month. The name of the Scholarship is MCM and it is JNU's Self-funded. Campus placements are low. About 20/58 students got placed.

Life at JNU is one of the best things you will remember for your whole life. As such, no fests are organized here but there is a lot more than that like parties, workshops, camps, etc. JNU has a very large collection of books and journals in the central library. JNU has is sports stadium where a lot of sports activities are conducted.

JNU provides Hostels to all Except Delhi/NCR people. The hostel room has a study table, chair, bed, and balcony. Every semester you have to pay 1500 for hostel registration and besides that around 3000 p.m. for mess charges. That's it. Munirka is the closest to JNU.

I have applied for JNU MCA and for this course the eligibility criteria are - BA/BCOM/BSC or related field with at least two subjects of mathematics + 60% throughout. In 2021 JNU conducts its own entrance through NTA but now it is through CUET. JNU has its reservation policy for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/DEFENCE. Due to covid, the duration, of the course, has been reduced due to late admission, so pacing the admission process should be a priority.
