Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course since I had an interest in the IT sector and field. In my department the faculty-to-student ratio is approx 1:20. Every faculty is very well-experienced and qualified. The exams are conducted monthly.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester onwards students can attend placement interviews. Students who have cgpa of 7.0 and higher are preferred usually for the filter. The highest package is 8LPA and the average is 4LPA. The placement percentage is approx 70.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the counseling quota, the fee is 55000 per year. For the management quota students, the fee is 87000 per year. There are scholarships for separate students who belong to a particular category. The first graduate also gets a scholarship from the college.

Campus Life

The annual cultural day is conducted grandly. The sports day is also conducted grandly with big chief guests once an Australian cricket player also came as a chief guest. There is a social group.

Admission

The eligibility of this course is 50 percent aggregate in physics, maths, and chemistry. In my IT department, the average cut-off required for counseling quota is 170. The application form can be found on the klnce.edu website and in the office.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
